âSo, you let yourself in?â I said rudely.
âAre you still upset about last time we talked?â his tone went from seductive to serious. âYou have been ignoring me since then.â
âWell, that didn't stop you from showing up at my house uninvited.â I said sarcastically.
âYou invited me like a month ago.â he claimed. Damn, he was right. I just remembered I sent most of the school an invite. Either way I was still glad to see him. I just wasnât going to let him know that.
âOh yeah huh.â I admitted.
âSo, do we get to make up now?â he grabbed my waste and pulled me closer to him and tried to kiss me. I playfully pushed him away. I loved playing hard to get with him. It was always such a thrill.
âWhat are you doing?â I asked him playfully. I couldn't stay mad at him. He was a jerk, but he was my jerk.
âWhy are you pushing me away? You know you missed me.â he toyed with me as he put his arms around my waste again and started kissing my neck.
âSomeone could walk in and see us.â I quietly whispered. To be honest I didn't care if anyone did. It made it that more exciting.
âLet them see.â he said. I guess itâs true what they say. Great minds do think alike. I gave him a sexy smirk.
âWhat would all the females that drool over you think?â I asked seductively.
âTo hell with what they think. You are the one I want to be with. I don't know why you are keeping us a secret in the first place.â he went back to being serious. And just like that my mood was gone.
âI am not keeping you a secret. I just don't think now is the time to announce us is all.â I was being honest with him.
âWhen will the time be right?â he demanded to know.
âI promise it will be soon.â I told him as I wrapped my arms around his waist and gave him a kiss on his lips. I hoped it would get him to change the subject so we can pick up where we left off.
âOkay, as long as you promise.â he said before kissing me back. He was actually kind of cute being pouty.
âNow, letâs stop messing around. I need your help getting the keg set up in the back yard.â I told him with no regret of what I just did to him.
âWow! Really?â he sounded disappointed.
âYou didnât really think I was going to mess up my hair or costume for you, did you?â I toyed with him.
âYou are one vicious female.â he muttered under his breath.
âDamn, you really did go all out for this party, didn't you?â he said as he seen all the booze in the back of my Tahoe.
âYou should see how much liquor I got in the freezer.â I told him with a grin on my face. âIt's supposed to be the party of the year.â
âAnd it will be.â he said before kissing me one more time.
